If someone were to ask me what Edison Computech was like, I would say it was great! This school is for kids who are different. I know that I stood out at my old school. All of the bullies at my old school were the jocks, and they had a say on everything that happened even if they were not involved. I was the smartest kid at my old school. If I would ever mess up on a math problem or a science problem, everyone would insult me because they felt good on the inside because they did something better than the smartest kid in the school. Then on the next math problem I would be the first one to finish and my answer would be correct, and then I say exactly what the other person would say to me and then they would get mad at me for being mean to them.

It's not like that here. Everyone here understand one another. I can't say there are not any jerks at my school, but there aren't very many. Also, the jerks are the least popular kids instead of the most popular kids like it was at my old school. I wish all schools were like. I would recommend this school to anyone who is smart, and is willing to work hard, and not give up. That is the true spirit of a Computech Tiger.

Today in Computer class, instead of watching videos for Microsoft Office, we played a game called Ribbon Hero in which we learned about Microsoft. I had lots of fun playing Ribbon Hero. It was very entertaining. It is setup like one of our previous lessons we have done on My Digital Life called Ignition. It was setup in a somewhat similar format to a game which helps keep kids engage. We (or Clippy) traveled through time and had problems to fix. He needed our help to do that since whatever he does, he does it wrong. I really liked what we did in class today. I think that most of the students in the class preferred to do this than to watch videos on PowerPoint. I think that this program should be introduced to all children since it is a fun and an engaging way to learn how to use Microsft-based applications.

I am currently reading The Vile Village. The Vile Village falls under the realistic fiction genre. The author of this book is Lemony Snicket. Right now, the Baudelaire children have been framed. They were accused of killing someone. I honestly do not like The Unfortunate Series of Events. In this series, the same thing happens in every book except that it happens in a different situation. For example, the Baudelaire children have to go live somewhere else because something happened to their previous home. Then someone dies, and Count Olaf get sent. This patterns happens for 13 books. First I read the first one, then I read the second one. After the second book, I read the last one to see what was going to happen, and yet again the same thing happened execpt that Count Olaf died.

In twenty years I will be a very successful person who has a great job and I will be making millions. I will be living a wealthy lifestyle 20 years from now. I will own a nice house up-to-date technology and a nice car. I will be able to buy anything I want and I will be the happiest person in the world. I will be enjoying life, and I would be thanking God for everything that has happened to me. I would go to church everyday. I would just be straight up happy; nothing more, nothing less. My parents wouldn't need to work. I wish it could be like that right now.

Today in Algebra we were showed how to think of an algebra equation differently. Mr. Erickson showed us how to think of an algebra equation as a pirate code. We did the inverse operation to figur out what X stands for. If it would say -4  then we do +4. if it is/6 then we multiple by 6. We do the inverse operation. Inverse operation means opposite. The opposite of subtracting is adding. The opposite of multiplacation is division and vice versa. We are on currently on Chapter 5.

11 years ago on this day we were attacked by terrorists. Specifically Osama Bin Laden. 4 planes were sent to attack 4 important buildings. 2 planes hit the Twin Towers, 1 hit the Pentagon, and the 4th one was supposed hit the White House, but the passengers found out the terrorists just crashed the plane.

It is a great book. I am currently on page 72. It is about a boy trying to rescue his father, but at the same time goblins are using old fairy technology with human power cells. This may sound really weird, but a boy's dad disappeared. His dad was transporting cola, but the Russian Mafia attacked the boat and the boat blew up. He was the only survivor, and he was kept as a captive for about ten years. They then contacted the boy with a video of his father, with a sign dangling around his neck saying help me son. His father was missing a leg, and had bruises. Now Artemis Fowl is trying to find his father in the Arctic.

Yesterday in science we did a flow back. We put the burner stand 1/3 from the left, and on top of it was a test tube clamped on at a 45 degree angle. Then we put a beaker 1/3 from the right. next we poured 10 milimeters of water in to the test tube, and 800 milimeters in the beaker. Then we put 10 small rocks in the testube, and 1 drop of yellow dye, and 4 drops of blue dye. then we put one end of the distiller in the beaker, and the other side in to the test tube. Then you light the burner, and put it underneath the burner stand, it was awesome.

When I read the quote "Experience shows that success is due less to ability than zeal. The winner is he who gives himself to his work, body, and soul". The first part means to me that experience doesn't come from natural ability, it may help but it comes from putting in your best effort. That is what the quote means to me. You msy have a different understanding of it, or a different way to explain it, but it will mean the same thing.

The lunch ladies are so nice. My lunch card went through the washer, and it opened up and got all wet, I didn't anything for lunch because the line was to long so I went to the boy's locker room to buy a coconut Ice cream, but the Ice cream machine was turned off so I went to the cafeteria afterwards, so I could buy another lunch card, but she said it is okay so I can pick it up tomorrow. She also gave me some cereal and some milk and a juice, so that is what happened at lunch.
