I must hurry to the village to confirm my fears. Why Jesus, why are you letting this happen to my family. Charlemagne in latin means "Charles The Great". Charlemagne was the second king of Europe. His kingdom rivaled the old Western Roman Empire. He was such a great king that the pope wanted to crown Charlemagne. He ruled for a total of 46 years, and died when he was 71 on January 28, 814. He was a very tall guy and is said to have been about 6' 4" which is 6 feet and 4 inches tall. That is tall, and he is said to have been a really strong and buff guy. The funny thing is that in all biographies written on Charlemagne say that he had a really high-pitched voice.
His empire was the largest empire after the Western Roman Empire.Kings that ruled after him did not do a very good job, and were very weak rulers. Over time, the empire started to fall apart by kings who were not fit to rule and were weak rulers. This lead to the fall of the Frankish Empire.
My New Year's resolution was to receive a 4.00 again for this semester, by doing this I would have had a 4.00 for an entire year. I asked Mrs.Baird about how many kids get a 4.00 each year. She said about 10-12 7th graders get a 4.00 each year. When I heard this; I was shocked. I thought Mrs.Baird was pulling my leg. I thought that since the first semester is so easy, the rest of the year was also going to be easy. A passed the first quarter with a 4.00. Half way through the second quarter, I realized that maintaining a 4.00 is hard to do, but easy to say.
I think that maintaining a 4.00 is going to be easier this year since I don't have art this semester. Art is the subject that I struggled most with. I am honestly not very artistic. If you can't tell yet, art is my best subject. I was so happy since I learned the fact that I am going to be in Science Workshop ( also know as rocketry) which I have heard is really fun.
