Punnett Squares can be used to determine your parent's phenotypes by observing your and your parent's phenotypes. Phenotypes can be used to determine what kind of genes your daughter and son will. If the mom is blond, and the dad is blond, both children will have blond hair. If the mom is blond, and the male is not blond and his family members are not blond then there is a hundred percent chance of the children being dark-haired.

In genetics, there are two kinds of traits, dominant trait and recessive trait. If there is at least one dominant allele which is capitalized in each square, the child will have a dominant trait. A dominant trait is more likely to happen than a recessive trait. A recessive trait is less likely to occur, and when it does occur; it happens under certain circumstances.

I am not exactly sure about our puppet show for science. I am not even sure what we are supposed to do. The weird thing is that I am about 5' 10", and the kid next to me is probably somewhere around 5'0". I ended up with the second worse and smallest animal. Guess what this animal is? It urinates when it gets scared. It is a type of beetle; can you guess what it is. I bet you can't so I might as well tell you. It is a ladybug. The kid who sits next to me got a moose which is massive. The kid who sits in front of me got a green sea-turtle, and the girl who sit across from me got a beaver.

Overall in the classroom; I got the second worst animal. The worst animal was a dung beetle that eats poop. That actually made me feel a lot better because I no longer had the worst animal, and that there was someone with a worst animal than me. There were many people upset about what animal they get. There were very few people who were happy about what animal they got.

The hardest science concept for me was DNA. There was, so much DNA nonsense. Mr.Kirste taught us about the types of RNA. There is mRNA and tRNA. mRNA is messenger RNA. tRNA is transfer RNA. There is also amino acids and codons. I understand that, I also understood the Punnett Squares we did. There is no simple way to remember what mRNA and tRNA. All I can remember is that mRNA goes out of the nucleus, and that it is only one side of a regular DNA. I also remember they do not Thymine; instead they have Uracil has a pair. For every 3 pairs matched, that makes one codon.

I have no clue what tRNA does. I feel totally clueless since we are going to have a CST on science, and chances are that tRNA and mRNA are going to be on it. I want to get a six hundred on my science CST just like I did in the 5th grade. That was a hard accomplishment.
