Mitosis is the process of creating new cells. The first phase is interphase. That is before mitosis begins. The next phase is prophase. In prophase, the DNA is duplicating it self and creating the chromosomes. The next phase in Mitosis is the metaphase. In the metaphase, the chromosomes line up. In the next phase, which is anaphase; the spindle fibers pull the chromosomes apart. Now the cell plates stars to form in telophase. Now there are two new nuclei in the place of one. Now the cell plate has formed by now and Cytokinesis is complete.

There are certain things that some types of cells have compared to others. For example, plant cells have a chloroplast, and a cell wall. Animal and human cells do not have chloroplasts and cell walls. Otherwise, all types of cells have the same organelles.

In an animal cell, they have the same organelles as a human cell, but they sometimes perform a different function. For example. the shape of the cytoplasm depends on the cytoskeleton. Besides this, there is no difference between animal and human cell unless you are counting the D

I personally think that the edible cell was a great way to learn about the cell. Making an edible cell was a good and fun way to learn about the parts of a cell. We learned about the shape of the organelles. We learned about the names of the cell, and we learned about  the organelles' functions.

Making an edible cell was basically a nudge for us to learn about the organelles of a cell.  I think that edible cell was just something to motivate us to learn about the parts of a cell. I think that making an edible cell was worth the time, and effort. The part were we could have done better on are the questions Mr.Kirste asked us. Some of us spent to much time making a cake, but no effort into studying.
