7th Grade Experiences

       We're done to our last 4 days (5 days including today, but it is 7th period so I will not count today). Tomorrow is the Wild Waters field trip. About 180 days of school have passed. 180 days of torcher have passed. Now we have 4 days left. It's been an entire school year, but it fells like it has only been a month. I remember the 1st day of school. I was a transfer student from Central Unified School District. I did not now anyone in the school except for one kid. This was the worst experience I have had all year. Out of 800 kids, I knew only 1. That is crazy. I remember that some kids were high-fiving one another on the first day of school. This is very true for the Manchester Gate students. Many of them knew one another very well, and they didn't have to worry about anyone else. I was worried if I would end up at the bottom of society at school like it was at my old school. All of the jerks were the cool kids. All the smart kids were at the bottom of society just like slaves were.
      My web leader told me that kids who are in more clubs and sports were better known around campus. I did many academic clubs, and we did very well in all of them. I didn't join the clubs for friends, I joined clubs because they were fun. I found kids with similar interests and I made friends. This was the best experience of 7th Grade!
