We went to the Fresno Chaffe Zoo on Tuesday. A lot of kids were saying that the zoo trip was boring, and they didn't learn anything. I personally loved the zoo trip. I loved all the animals. There were animals that were found all over the world. I thought that the tiger station was really cool, but there was only one tiger, and it was just sitting down. I wish it was more active. There weren't very many tortoises at each exhibit. There were only 1-2 tortoises of each kind. There was only one Radiated Tortoise at the zoo, and only one red-footed tortoise. There were 2 African Spurred Tortoises. 2 Giant Tortoises at the zoo. Also, I really liked the rainforest, it was hot in there, but the different types of animals were amazing. The Bird Show was magnificent. As one of the birds was flying overhead, this bird decided to poop, and landed on a girl in my core class.
I liked the Asian Elephants the most from all of the exhibits at the zoo. These Elephants were moving around and there were 2 of them. They were both massive! I saw one of them splattering sand over itself to protect it self from the sun's heat. The Asian Elephants seemed pretty solitary. None of the 2 elephants came close to one another. It was as if they were some sort of rivals. You may ask why the Asian Elephant exhibit was my favorite. It is my favorite exhibit because I had only seen 1 elephant before the 2 elephants at the zoo in my life. The first elephant I ever saw was wondering the streets of India with its master sitting on top. At first I was very scared, but afterwards I was very fascinated. This is why the Asian Elephant exhibit was my favorite exhibit at the zoo.
